Who We Are

Damson Technologies is a Dublin based technology support and consultancy firm. Formed in 2003 by Donal and Fintan Murphy, Damson provides our clients with I.T. maintenance support contracts and Service Level Agreements. In the course of six years working closely with SME’s Damson developed a Technology Consultancy arm to the business. In 2008 the decision was made to rebrand the company as Damson Technologies to incorporate the new arm of our business and better reflect the services we offer. Our Technology Consultancy service endeavours to bring the benefits of the latest advances in Web 2.0 technologies and ‘Cloud Computing’ to our clients.

Donal Murphy
CTO & Partner

In a previous incarnation Donal spent five years as an I.T. Manager in the Irish publishing industry. Experiencing the issues facing a growing SME provided him valuable insights into the everyday challenges facing small businesses. Donal left the publishing industry in 2005 to work full time for Damson and has never looked back. He enjoys the wide range of issues and challenges presented in running a technology based company in the 21st Century and the satisfaction involved in delivering solutions to our clients.

Fintan Murphy
Technology Consultant & Partner

The born entrepreneur of the family and the initial driving force behind the business, Fintan started Damson in 2003 whilst studying Computer Science in UCD. Recently Fintan has become involved with the Irish arm of the BNI (Business Networking International) group. In September 2008 he was appointed to the leadership team of the newly formed BNI Ballsbridge chapter.  Fintan has recently completed a Diploma in Business Analysis and Consultancy at the National College of Ireland.
