Who We Are

Damson Technologies is a Dublin based technology support and consultancy firm. Formed in 2003 by Donal and Fintan Murphy, Damson provides our clients with I.T. maintenance support contracts and Service Level Agreements. In the course of six years working closely with SME’s Damson developed a Technology Consultancy arm to the business. In 2008 the decision was made to rebrand the company as Damson Technologies to incorporate the new arm of our business and better reflect the services we offer. Our Technology Consultancy service endeavours to bring the benefits of the latest advances in Web 2.0 technologies and Cloud Computing to our clients.

Donal Murphy

Operations Manager & Partner

Donal is a technology consultant and partner with his brother Fintan in Damson Technologies. In a previous incarnation Donal spent five years as an I.T. manager in the publishing industry.  In 2005 Donal joined Damson full time and has never looked back. He enjoys the wide range of issues and challenges presented in running a technology company in the 21st Century and the satisfaction involved in delivering solutions to our clients.  Donal heads up our engineering team and specialises in managing our system integration and cloud migration projects.

Fintan Murphy

Sales Director & Founder

The born entrepreneur of the family and the initial driving force behind the business, Fintan started Damson in 2003 whilst studying Computer Science in UCD.  Fintan Murphy is the Sales Director and Founder of Damson Technologies.  Fintan has a Diploma in Business Analysis and Consultancy from the National College of Ireland and recently received a certificate in Leadership Management from I.L.M.  He has worked in the Technology Sector for over 8 years and is a member of the Business Analysts Association of Ireland.  He is a Gold Member of Business Network International (BNI) and has just finished his second term as Membership Coordinator.  Fintan speaks at business and technology events on topics such as Cloud Computing.  Fintan also speaks to parents groups at local schools about “Being a Parent in the Digital Age”.  Fintan lives in Clondalkin with his partner Lesley and their one year old son Ruairi.  When he’s not working Fintan enjoys rock climbing, kayaking and off-roading.
